Maybe recently your life hasn’t been going the way you envisioned. Maybe you are struggling with a new challenging situation in the face of a big change. Maybe, previously, a relatively small issue has become what your daily life is now centered on. Or, maybe you can’t put your finger on what is bothering you, but you just haven’t been yourself lately. You are here… and I want to be the first person to welcome you in taking the first step toward finding whatever it is you are looking for.

It can feel like “no one knows how this feels”, or “things could get worse”, but it can also feel like “I’ve already wasted so much time”, and “enough is enough”. The journey inward is one that can be confusing and depressing, but it also is interesting, exciting, and incredibly motivating. Together, we will turn that confliction into inspiration that will animate the next chapter of your life and serve as an impetus to move forward in taking back control and setting new goals for yourself. You are able to become the best version of yourself and you deserve to be happy and feel fulfilled. What changes do you have to make to have that? What has stopped you so far?

I have a decade of experience in working with adults and I have come to find that the single most important aspect of successfully utilizing help is that the individual's perspective of the problem is paramount. Therefore, I really take the time to understand my clients and I am never quick to make any assumptions. Informing my therapeutic approach, I focus on insight-based philosophies that will assist you in elucidating what has been causing you distress. Therapy will bring out a lot of emotion, so I just also like to remain in good humor.

I specialize in both mood/mind altering addictions, codependency, individuals who have been incarcerated/impacted by the legal system, depression/mood disorders, anxiety, dual diagnosis, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, and coping with stress.
